The
World of Health was established in 2000 by Eileen Burns. Eileen began her interest in sef development
|
|
and holistic therapies living with m.e., which left her mainly housebound in her twenties.
|
|
Since then eileen, has found her niche
teaching and providing self development
|
|
and complementary therapies to individuals and organisations
in lanarkshire.
|
|
|
Eileen
began her
Reiki Journey in 1992, initially attuned by International
Reiki Master -Mari Hall after
|
|
her own experience of the benefits of Reiki . She then began
her study and research into
|
|
personal development, specialising in Stress Management, Meditation
and Relaxation Therapy.
|
|
Leading her to an Advanced Stress Adviser with Caledonian
University & Stress Education Services
|
|
She
is a Traditional Usui Reiki Master who has 17 years experience
working with Reiki Energy.
|
|
Diploma's in Anatomy, Aromatherapy, Indian Head Massage. Certificates
in Colour Therapy,
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Stress Management, Time Management and Colour for Image along
with her therapies. She practised
|
|
TM,
Transcendental Meditation for over 10 years but now teaches
a variety of types of meditation.
|

Eileen
offers various treatment and sessions designed to help clients
improve their health and
|
|
wellbeing. Release any dis-ease within the mind, body and
spirit. Her combination as a Stress Coach,
|
Reiki Therapist and other therapies such as Flower
Essences make her especially effective in treating
|
|
clients
suffering from Anxiety, Depression, Stress, Life Challenges
such as Seperation, Grief. Along
|
|
with
over 7 years experience teaching Adults, Children, Young People
in the community.
|
|
|
The
World of Health also provides qualified therapists for events,
health fayres, pamper days,
|
|
workplace
or in-house therapies. Eileen also provides a variety of Personal
Development and
|
Therapy Workshops
for all ages to local schools, colleges, charities and local
council. Clients include
|
|
North
Lanarkshire Council, Shotts Getting Better Together , NHS-
Lanarkshire, Alzheimer Scotland.
