History of Indian Head Massage

Massage has always been a strong part of Indian Culture as far

back as 4,000 years ago. Passed down as family tradition for over
1,000 years. Indian Head Massage has developed from their
women's traditional grooming routine and also by Barbers known
as" Champi" (head massage). Available on Street Corners, Beaches
and Family Homes. "Indian Champissage" is an advanced form of
Indian Head Massage. Now recognised internationally as an
Ayurvedic Therapy. Marmas are used in Indian Head Massage
to treat specific Dosha Imbalance, The Pranas and Specific
Systems, Organs of the Body. Marma Points are Vital Points
linked to Ayurvedic Anatomy and Theories. These points
correspond to internal organs and body systems. Manipulation
of these points helps to promote physical and mental wellness
